The Tea Project, Cannon Hill Cafe, Birmingham, Tuesday 3rd June, 7pm

UB's Leo Kay has been working as a creative consultant on The Tea Project: an active artistic experience using tea as a tool to connect communities and generate discussion based in Birmingham. You're invited to share a moment with friends and strangers alike, playfully exploring the everyday ritual that breaks down barriers, encouraging anecdotal storytelling and allowing us to focus on the present.

Italian Colourism (London Contemporary Music Festival), ICI, 1st June

As part of the London Contemporary Music Festival - which UB collaborator Sam Campbell, of Lamb+Sea, has been filming - including performances (by the Quartetto Prometeo) of the work of Salvatore Sciarrino, Domenico Scarlatti and the British premiere of Michelangelo Pistoletto's celebrated performance piece Twenty-two less two (2009) - a piece famous for a final act in which the artist takes a hammer to glass.
